Rich Richie

Word are too limiting when trying to tribute a person that meant so much to so many.  Rich has been with the Lacey Golf Assoc. for a very long time.  He didn’t hesitate when needed to step up to do the accounting for the group.  Rich was a trustworthy, honest man who was a perfect fit for the position.  If you have ever brought your car to his garage (Lacey Auto care) you would know the thoroughness and honesty that Rich possessed.  He was a hard working man with a passion for family, boating and golf.  He spent his last weekend embracing all of those things. 3EABF91D-EBF5-4E00-82F1-13D1C820F724

Those of us fortunate enough to share a round of golf with Rich will miss the passion and competitive nature he possessed.  Those who went to his place of business will certainly miss his ability to explain the issues with your vehicle and the completeness of the work done.  Rich had just got a boat and spent the later part of Sunday on the boat after golfing in the morning.  It was a beautiful day and Im sure Rich would not have wanted it any other way.

Please keep Rich and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

Our menu is Burgers,Sausage & Peppers,Baked Beans and Potatoe Salad. Sounds good as I write.

We had five rounds in the 70’s. Bob Reilly and Ray Dibenedetti were on top of the leaderboard with 76. They were followed by

Only 10 of our players hit their target score. This is hard to do and especially last Thursday. From the white tees your target score is 67 and 65 from the gold tees.

June 6 Tournament Results

Some of you heard the cheers when a golf ball found the bottom of the cup on Hole# 7. I did not but the player who hit the shot was playing 8 and I was leaving 9 so he rode over with a huge smile and told me he had a Hole In One on 7. Nunzio Italiano was still smiling when I saw him after the round. He should smile the shot is worth $645.00. Our last Hole In One was on September 21 2017.

I will have your money on Thursday.Congratulations!!

This means all our players will need to bring $45.00 this week.As you know we have a mandatoty hole in one fee of $5. Do not forget. The fee this week is $45.00.
